Love Islanders are well known for enjoying the odd nip and tuck and squeeze of a syringe.
Many strut on to the show with various appendages enhanced, and they tend to accept some of the cosmetic tweaks often offered to them for free when they depart the villa.
Filler and surgery has been a fierce point of debate in this year’s series as Hugo Hammond landed in very hot water when he said he disliked “fakeness”.
Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter, who have had both surgery and cosmetic filler, admonished him and angrily explained they had procedures done out of insecurity.
But with the trend of fillers fading out, with even Kylie Jenner getting her iconic lips dissolved, other stars from the show have gone the opposite route.
For some of our Love Island favourites, the natural look has been embraced.
Others are unrecognisable for different reasons, such as body transformations as they embark on a fitness journey, whereas others admit their physique on the show was just not feasible to maintain, and proudly showcase their new healthy bodies.
Here are some of the biggest post-Love Island transformations.
Molly Mae Hague, 21

Molly-Mae coupled up with boxer Tommy Fury and managed to win him over despite threats from love rivals Maura Higgins and Lucie Donlan.
In fact, the stunning couple are still together now and recently celebrated their two-year anniversary.
But Molly-Mae looks very different from the day Tommy first met her in the hot tub – as she has decided to get the majority of her filler dissolved.
Following some cruel taunts about the work she’d had done, Molly-Mae announced she was getting the filler in her lips, jaw and cheeks dissolved, which takes painful injections into the area.
Following a recent appointment, Molly-Mae filmed a video from her car, where she explained: “Sorry if there’s a little bit of a weird look to my face right now, I can’t overly move my lips.
“I had to have numbing cream all over my face, I randomly actually ended up getting filler dissolved in my face this morning.”
She went on: “I feel like I’m still definitely going through the process of trying to make everything as natural as I possibly can, I made that many mistakes when I was younger I’m genuinely still trying to correct them now.
“That’s how far I took it a few years back – it’s not just a few appointments to correct that level of mistakes I made.”
She added: “I’m still on my natural journey, on the road to getting things more natural – which I am so happy I’ve done.”
And it’s not just the filler – Molly-Mae also has her big white composite bonds removed from her teeth, embracing her own teeth underneath.
She told fans: “On this journey to becoming more natural…
“I decided it was time for one more change. Goodbye composites bonds, hello natural teethies.”
The hair extension-lover also tends to wear her hair in its natural short bob now, with flowing extensions saved for special occasions, and she wears less fake tan too.
Wes Nelson, 23
Wes was an original member of the Do Bits Society on Love Island and his love triangle with Megan Barton-Hanson and Laura Anderson had us absolutely hooked.
Now a successful singer and rapper, Wes has been storming the charts with his new sound, and has also embraced a new look.
While he has not said he has undergone any surgical procedures or cosmetic injections, his face appears to have changed since we first saw him on our screens.
While Wes was still dating Megan, a source told us: “Wes has had Botox. Megan had always been a regular Botox user and when her and Wes left the villa she got her top up.
“Lot’s of people have Botox these days and it’s not something he’s ashamed of or has been hiding.”
But Wes has firmly denied getting lip fillers after some followers commented on a selfie he took, suggesting he was poutier than before.
“The only photo I’ve uploaded since the villa not smiling with my teeth and I’m accused of getting lip fillers. You guys are mad,” he wrote, alongside laughing emojis.
As well as his face looking a little different, Wes has also revealed his body has changed too after he starred on Dancing On Ice in 2019.
Wes explained he lost 10kg during the gruelling training process, during which he was partnered with Vanessa Bauer.
He said on Good Morning Britain: “I’ve lost 10kg [of muscle], yeah. A lot. I feel like even though I’ve got smaller in size, I’ve got stronger.
“I suppose the technique as well, constantly lifting body weights.”
Laura Anderson, 31
We all wept for Laura Anderson when Wes ditched her for Megan – who admittedly he seemed more compatible with.
But the feisty Scot picked herself up and dusted herself off and stayed in the series for a while longer.
When she exited the villa, Laura was open about the work she decided to have done as a few subtle tweaks to her face made a world of difference.
Laura had filler in her lips and cheeks to plump them up, and also had a liquid rhinoplasty where filler cleverly injected into the nose makes it straighter.
But the stunning blonde was subjected to cruel comments when she posted a photo of her before and after, as trolls accused her of looking “fake”.
And, proving celebs can truly never win, she also received insults about her looks and age when she starred on Love Island, despite only being in her late twenties.
She responded: “I was expecting bad comments. I went for a place that I know does a natural look.
“I know there’s a lot of young people that follow me and I don’t want to promote anything like that as it’s a dangerous topic really.
“People have to feel good [inside] before they do all that I believe that but for me it’s something I wanted to do for a really long time and I came out and just did it as I was thinking about it while I was in there.
“I’ve had a bit of Botox here and there but I think that’s enough. It’s a touchy subject and I get that and I would never want to promote that to young girls.
“But I still want to live my life for me. It’s hard but I’m nearly 30.”
The clinic that treated Laura gave a fascinating insight into what she had done and how it works, writing on Instagram: “She also had a slight cartilage deficiency in her nose which we gently corrected and straightened with Aliaxin EV.”
“We added some mid-face volume and cheekbones to refresh and rejuvenate her face, and then the famous Profhilo bio-remodeller – which hydrates the skin from the inside out and gives the appearance of an airbrushed and smoothed face.
“We think it has genuinely taken years off her, even though she was absolutely stunning to begin with.”
They added: “It’s been an honour working with a truly genuine, and lovely person inside and out.”
Jessica Hayes, 28
Jessica Hayes appeared on the first ever series of Love Island in 2015, and won alongside Max Morley, who went on to date Charlotte Crosby.
Jess was a natural beauty in the villa but admitted she had insecurities about her “round face” and underwent a huge transformation, which she says has made her unrecognisable to herself.
She had Botox in her forehead, as well as filler in her cheeks and jaw to give her a more heart-shaped face.
“At the end of the day it’s something I want to do so I will do it,” said Jess.
“I wanted to change the shape of my face a little bit and the dent in my chin was bothering me.
“It’s gone now and now I’m happy.
“It’s not changing because I’m unhappy with the way I look, it’s just enhancing what I want.
“I’m not having surgery – things like Botox and fillers are not surgery.”
But she insisted that reports she “regretted” her transformations were untrue, and added “sometimes I look a lot different… But I don’t regret it”.
“When you are in the public eye you do want to be perfect,” Jess added.
“Before I was on TV and stuff I was quite natural, but obviously you want to look your best so you are going to have these treatments done.
“Everyone has it – and at least I’m honest about it.”
Megan Barton-Hanson, 27
When bombshell Megan Barton-Hanson arrived on series four of Love Island, she accidentally made almost every single man fall in love with her – and it wasn’t hard to see why.
Megan was open about her previous surgical procedures after trolls attempted to shame her when photos of her younger self emerged.
She explained she had her ears pinned back at 14, followed by a nose job, boob job, lip fillers and veneers in her late teens.
But Megan is another star who has gone the opposite way of late and decided to have her lips dissolved for a smaller appearance, as well as having the clips that held her ears back removed.
She told The Sun: “At the end of last year, after realising the outside of the shell is just the tip of the iceberg, I even opted to have the clips in my ears removed.
“I’ve just had my lips dissolved too. Deciding to leave my ears sticking out feels like a middle finger to all the mean kids at school.
“Plus, I always fancied Legolas from Lord Of The Rings – and now we have matching ears!”
Jamie Jewitt, 30
A new dad with his Love Island partner Camilla Thurlow, gorgeous couple Jamie and Camilla are proof lasting love really can come from the programme.
Camilla and Jamie recently welcomed baby Nell in February and the little family look like the picture of bliss.
And as can be expected when back in the real world, especially with a baby to care for, Jamie openly admitted he fell off his fitness regime.
The former model decided to embark on a new lifestyle overhaul having gained four stone, which he comically documents on his page, Dad Bod Diaries.
He has been running 5k every day as he works on getting his fitness back – but says he feels much more comfortable with some weight on and less pressure.
Alongside a smiley mirror selfie, he wrote: “Dad bod diaries! This is me yesterday at 105.5kg. Roughly 16.5 stone.
“For those asking. During Love Island I was 80kg. 4stone and 25kg lighter than I am now,” he added, alongside a photo of his original Love Island press shot.
“I don’t want to be that thin again as personally I feel better a bit heavier. But that’s a little idea of the difference,” he concluded.
Filming himself after a run, he explained later: “I have hit a new personal heaviest at 16.5 stone and to be honest I’m really not happy about that.
“Time to do something about it.”
He also added that it was about his mental health as well as physical, as he could “feel the extra weight” in his joints, which was hurting his knees.
Jamie has also shaved his head in recent months, which has transformed his look after he rocked a longer, rugged style on the ITV2 show.
Alexandra Cane, 24
Alexandra Cane wowed us when she scolded Alex George for wasting her short-lived time on Love Island.
And after she left the villa, the brunette beauty underwent a huge lifestyle overhaul and became a fitness guru, plugging her workout regime and showing off her toned physique following a two-stone weight loss.
But she later admitted she took things too far and became obsessed with exercising constantly and being as skinny as possible, which eventually led to health problems including her period stopping.
Alexandra revealed she is now more focused on being healthy and taking care of herself as well as doing things she enjoys.
“Your health should come first above any aesthetic goal or other reasons for restricting food/over exercising,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Whether you want to lose weight/gain weight just make sure you’re doing it for health reasons and for better quality of life, not from pain.”
She also ditched her lengthy black locks in favour of a slightly lighter and much shorter style – and transformed her skin to make it even more clear and glowing with a gruesome facial that left her face bloodied and Alexandra “half blind”.
While the long healing process was a grisly one – the results were undeniable.
Amber Davies, 22
Love Islanders turned West End superstar Amber Davies was always beautiful, but she too decided to make some small tweaks.
First off, Amber swapped out her straight, dark brown hair for a honey blonde shade.
She has also revealed she had her ears pinned back, explained to Lorraine Kelly: “I got my ears pinned back. It’s been an insecurity of mine since I can remember.
“My mum always said, ‘Just wait a few more years, you might grow into them’.”
She continued: “I hated them. And I never got trolled, or anything like that. I can [see the difference] and I am so much happier.
“I’ve got to perform on stage each night… I wanted to get rid of that insecurity of mine.”
And while Amber has not commented on any other procedures, her lips look a little fuller than before.
It’s all in the makeup too – Amber has changed her style a lot and now favours a bushy thick brow instead of her former skinny brow, give her a youthful, trendy appearance.
